Fundations - Over the summer, practice fluent reading and phonics skills reviewed this year!
In Wit and Wisdom- Students will be elaborating on paragraph writing in second grade. It’s great to practice the format over the summer. Topic Sentence; Details-Elaborations; Conclusion sentence.
In Math -. Memorize math facts 0-20 in addition and subtraction. Reinforce place value (tens and ones).
In Religion -Going to mass over the summer is important and the ultimate preparation for the sacraments in second grade.
