Monday, 4/22 - Complete page P126.   The test on Module 13 has been pushed to Thursday, 4/25.  

Tuesday, 4/23 - Complete page P127.   POW #19 is due Tuesday, 4/30.   The test on Module 13 has been pushed to Thursday, 4/25.

Wednesday, 4/24 - Complete the review pages 335 & 336. POW #19 is due Tuesday, 4/30.   Module 13 test tomorrow. 

Thursday, 4/25 - Complete page 338 in the classwork workbook. POW #19 is due Tuesday, 4/30.

Science Announcements: 

 Now that the NYS Grade 5 Test is completed, we can focus on the Science Fair.  The slides and showboard are due on Friday, May 10. We will work together during class to prepare for the Science Fair.

                 REMINDER: Please submit $8 to Ms. Re for your Women in History novel. 

:45 minutes of IREADY in ELA and MATH is due each week - checked each Monday (45 minutes ELA)  

Extra Credit due by 4/30- - Optional, this is the only EC for Trimester III. See Classroom, posted March 20th. Due dates and instructions must be followed. 

                         Free Choice DEAR BOOK - Pick any genre you like for your Pleasure Reader. 

Monday 4/22 - Classic Novel BR today in school.  HW is to prepare for your 5 to 30 second Classic Novel commercial that you will do for our class tomorrow. Be prepared with your book - index card optional. See CR. 

Tuesday 4/23 - SHEROES  UNIT - Make sure you have an ELA NB and an ELA FOLDER each day.   BRING A PENCIL, WITH AN ERASER, and A HIGHLIGHTER ALSO.

Wed. 4/24 - SHEROES - Make sure you have your ELA NB and ELA folder organized with all SHEROES materials EVERY DAY.   BRING A PENCIL, WITH AN ERASER, and A HIGHLIGHTER ALSO. Thunberg annotations, questions, and three def. and sent in NB must be finished by tom. (if not completed) (Activist must be one of the three words you select.  The definition is posted.) 

Thurs. 4/25- SHEROES - Make sure you have your ELA NB and ELA folder organized with all SHEROES materials EVERY DAY.   BRING A PENCIL, WITH AN ERASER, and A HIGHLIGHTER ALSO. If needed,  finish Partner Project today with Character Traits - Thunberg (3 traits and text support). The traits and text support should be in your NB.  Highlight the text support on your handouts, it will help.  (Use the annotation codes - circle unfamiliar words and underline what is important. Make notes, use “   “ ). 

Friday 4/26-  SHEROES - Make sure you have your ELA NB and ELA folder organized with all SHEROES materials EVERY DAY.  BRING A PENCIL, WITH AN ERASER, and A HIGHLIGHTER ALSO.  IREADY due Monday, as always. Tuesday is ABSOLUTE LAST DAY for Extra Credit.  (If you did not finish your highlighted job, you must complete yours for HW).
