SFDS Week of February 9th 2020 (Catholic Schools Week 2020)

Dear Families,

Here’s what you need to know about the last week before Winter Recess!

It is finally here. Catholic Schools Week 2020.  This is a week of celebration of our Faith. Our families commit themselves to the mission of Catholic education; celebrating Catholic Schools Week is a part of that. We take time out to celebrate our Faith, family, friendships, morals and service.

This week is also the perfect time to recognize the contributions that Catholic schools make to students all across our country.  Students here at St. Francis de Sales are part of the 2 million students in the United States who are currently attending Catholic schools.  The education they receive builds on a tradition of academic excellence older than the United States itself, dating back nearly four centuries.

As we begin Catholic Schools Week this week, I am very proud to be in the company of a stellar faculty and staff and the best kids in the world.

Have a Happy Catholic Schools Week!
