SFDS Week of May 7th 2018

Dear Families,

In the Catholic faith, the month of May is traditionally dedicated to Mary, our Blessed Mother.  There are many ways to celebrate this particular devotion. We honor our Blessed Mother in a special way during the annual May Crowning prayer service. Our second grade students lead the entire community in this very special service. Please join the SFDS community on Tuesday May 22nd at 1:30pm for this special prayer service.

Now onto some exciting things happening in the upcoming week of May 7th:

Sacrament of First Holy Eucharist: Congratulations to many of our 2nd graders who will receive the sacrament of Eucharist for the first time this weekend. We are so proud of all of our 2nd graders who are now closer to Jesus. A special thank you to their teachers Mrs. Stathis, Mrs. Watters and Mrs. O’Malley for preparing them for this special moment.  They will be joined by the rest of their classmates next weekend who will receive their communion on Saturday 5/12.
